The first thing the kids did was decorate a bag to put all their treats and prizes in for later. We made candy bracelets after this. Here is a picture of Julia. She is a pirate this year.

Here is Sam......He is Harry Potter. He really enjoys reading the Harry Potter series. He is in book five now.

We decorated cupcakes to look like spiders. They turned out very cute!!
We also had trays of gummy candy for the kids to eat. There were gummy fingers and eyeballs to eat. There were also candy teeth to munch on. There was a small dish of blood (red syrup) to dip the candy in. After we all had a good sugar high, we were on to games.....
The first game we played was pin the broom on the witch. After we turned each girl around several times, they had a chance to pin a paper broom onto the witch. They all did pretty well.
It was a great day for a party. They next few games were outside. We had an eyeball relay. Brian drew eyeballs onto a lot of ping pong balls. They kids were in two teams. They had to carry their eyeball on a spoon and put it in a bowl of water. It was cool to see all of the eyeballs floating after the game.
Floating eyeballs......

The next game was the mummy wrap. I divided all the kids up into partners. One of the kids had to wrap the other one with a roll of toilet paper. The first one to use up their toilet paper wins. We then switched so the other person would get a chance to wrap their partner. Sam and his partner won both times!!

Julia and her partner...

We also had a treasure hunt. Brian wrote up clues and hid them all over the yard. We had the boys and girls have separate treasure hunts. The prize was buried in the sand box.
Here is Brian. He is raking toilet paper in the backyard after the party.
