Great River Days July 2011

We had a great time at Great River Days in Muscatine. We go every year to see Grandpa and Grandma Young. We started off by having breakfast. Julia got a kid's breakfast. She was very happy to see that is looked like a cat (maybe a mouse?!).


After breakfast, we went to find a spot in the shade for the parade. We went to the corner we stand on every year and found an open spot.

They had this thing set up by the river front. It was just to look at...

Off to the carnival. We watched the kids ride the strawberries.

The kids enjoyed running and climbing through this at the carnival.

It was hot so we needed a lot of treats. Sam got some pop and cotton candy.

Julia really wanted a shaved ice. It was blue raspberry. She told me it was her favorite. I believe her because she gets it every year.
