We went downtown for Run for the Schools. It was raining pretty steady right before the race. The officials decided to delay the race for 30 minutes. They canceled the mile race so Sam did the 1/2 mile race instead.

After the race, we always go to Fair Grounds for waffles and coffee (coffee is for me). I love how pretty the coffee looks when you get it. It tastes pretty good, too.
Sam and Julia both get chocolate chip waffles. They both get two waffles. One to eat and one to take home for the next day.
