The first day of school for Sam and Julia. It was a bit difficult for Julia. She was nervous about a new teacher and new classroom. She was blessed with a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Saunders. She is a veteran teacher with a lot of patience and love for her students. Julia took a special stone with her to school. It was made by a special friend of mine (Connie Berends). She found all the right words to describe my amazing, sweet girl that was starting 6th grade.
Here are our usual first day of school pictures on the front steps. Sam is 13 and going into 8th grade. He is such a kind, smart young man. He loves to learn and is a great friend.
