We go to Muscatine to Great River Days every year. The kids love spending time with Grandpa and Grandma. We got to see Grandpa's new car. He got a Smart cart to pull behind their RV. Sam thought it was so tiny.
We went down to the riverfront to spend some time on Grandpa and Grandma's boat.
We walked up to the fair to have some special treats. Both of the kids got a shaved ice. Guess which flavor each kid got?
Next up were the rides. The kids still prefer the tamer rides. They rode on the swings and the strawberry.
It isn't a day at the fair without some fair food. We tried elephant ears and funnel cakes.
After we finished at the fair, we headed back to the boat. We went out for a ride. Sam has always been fascinated by all of the switches and gauges.
