Julia's presents April 9, 2010

We had a lot of fun watching Julia open her presents for her 8th birthday. We had a family birthday celebration on the day of her birthday. Once her dad was home from work she opened up her presents. The first one was wrapped by Brian. It has blue paper on it. She kept saying, "It's a hula hoop!!" I would joke and say, "There is no way that is a hula hoop!" or "Why would you think that is a hula hoop!" She had a hard time keeping her hands off the gift and couldn't wait to unwrap it. (Ask Brian how long it takes to wrap a hula hoop) Sam, Julia and a friend help Julia unwrap her hula hoop.

Can you believe it?! It is a hula hoop!! And she is unbelievable with this thing. I can not make it go.

The next gift a Littlest Pet Shop Online.....ladybug!

Every kid need swim rings for the swimming pool. I joked and said she could practice in the bathtub. She didn't think that was very funny.

In the envelope is a note with a picture telling her that she is going to get a new bike for her birthday! She is very excited. We will go pick it out together.

A new soccer ball for the birthday girl. She has become more interested in sports. She specifically asked for a soccer ball and a kickball.
