Julia's Sleepover April 2010

Julia had a wonderful birthday celebration. She invited a few girlfriends over for a party then a sleepover. The first activity the girls did was decorate their t-shirts and pillowcases. A friend of mine wrote their names on both for me. They turned out wonderfully and the girls loved them. After the artwork, it was time for a break. The girls went outside to play. The weather was beautiful so they were outside for quite awhile. They were on the swings, running all over the yard and also in the sandbox. They finally came inside when it was time for pizza.

After pizza, it was time for cake. The fine people at Hy-Vee made the cake. It turned out very cute. Julia picked out the decorations for the top.

Here are the candles. Julia wanted the number candle and also regular candles to blow out!

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

Next up is opening up presents. Her friends were so sweet. She got some Littlest Pet Shop things, a pink baseball glove, a note pad and a necklace.

These are the little boxes that Julia gave out to her friends went they went home in the morning. They had a little notepad, pen, lipgloss, and a punch ball inside. She picked out everything.

In the morning we had pancakes for breakfast. Each girl got a pancake for the first letter of their name. After that it was regular pancakes for everyone.

After this, the girls played for a bit and then were soon picked up to go home. After that, I went upstairs and took a 3 hour nap.

  2. I have recovered. It took about 3 days to catch up on sleep. My house will never recover. I am about ready to give up on keeping it clean. I need a day where the kids go visit grandma so I can get back on it....
